Trisara means the “third garden in heaven” in ancient Sanskrit. Inspired by this meaning and Zen garden designs I have created abstracted designs with a modern infusion into the tranquility & harmony of the pattern formation.

Flowing & circular swirls imitate the gracefully raked sand garden designs and ripples in the quiet ponds while painted brush strokes play on shapes of botanical & natural elements that surround them. Textures & overlays suggest hints of the bamboo & leaves, giving a resort & spa like feel to some of the designs. The enlarged sizes & scales add a bold sophistication to suit any urban city style too and a global contemporary essence shows through the designs diversity & versatility.
